This guy, Glen Murphy, has some good stuff going on. If you know anything about compys you can try some of it out yourself. Check out his installations. Now, I don't really know where he stands on the scale of technology, but having tried out his programs, I have to say there were bloody good fun. And when you mix art and fun, that is a surefire cure for malaria, or at the very least lethargy. Check out some videos from here as well.
