Krzysztof Wodiczko-CECUT Project

The purpose [of the project] was to use progressive technology to give voice and visibility to the women who work in the "maquiladora" industry in Tijuana. We designed a headset that integrated a camera and a microphone allowing the wearer to move while keeping the transmitted image in focus. The headset was connected to two projectors and loudspeakers that transmitted the testimonies live.

Emily Keegin

She's one of those banal documentarians that I have always enjoyed. Once again, I don't know much about her. She was born in '80. Lives in Brooklyn, but what the hell does that matter. Her website has very little content and basically no information about her, but what is there is nicely moody and understated.

If I see one more reference to shitting or farting in art I'm going to uppercut a small child.

P.S. I'll buy anyone a beer if they guess which one is me.
Mike, don't give it away. I'll buy you a beer anyway.

This guy makes some hilarious videos. Certainly check out "How to speak body", and "Modern Daydream 1". He writes: "Having been a choreographer, I always considered myself a student of 'spacial politics'--the dynamics that influence how people arrange themselves in space, both in relation to each other and to their environment. " and "I am an obsessive pattern seeker and deconstructor of the familiar, perpetually torturing myself by searching for meaning in the mundane. "

doesn't it look

like there are horses on top of her head?
For added humor: Here is an image I found on Wayne State U's website. I call it "Passion: homage to Jackson Pollock [orange]."

Without a Doubt, the Best Youtube Videos

So, a while ago, I found this YouTube video and posted it here. It wasn't until today that I actually checked out more videos by this AMAZING "xboredz" and I'm totally engaged. (S)he has 10 short videos posted...everything from granpa, to goldfish, to Maury and wrestling. It is an unadulterated exhibit of "average".

I saw this picture on myspace and immediately thought it looked a lot like the photo I posted here before by Michelle Cheiken.
